Saab classic 900 speedometer head – fits 89-93, OEM to 89 90 91
Up for sale is a Working, in excellent condition Saab 900 speedometer head from a 1990 900 Turbo classic. This unit worked perfectly when removed from a crash damaged car. Physically and cosmetically very nice. Great for parts to fix your original cluster, or install it as is – these are pretty easy to swap. I have 2 of these, exactly the same, except for mileage. both 2 are different mileages, I am not taking new pictures for the exact same item – so count on receiving an “unknown” mileage speedo head. This unit, would be original equipment for all 89-91 900 turbo cars, and will also work with 92 & 93 + the 1994 convertible cars. If you need one, you will have a hard time finding one… But….. Found! Another interesting tid bit? These units generate the correct VSS (vehicle speed sensor) signal for the Saab Trionic engine management system. This was originally used by the cruise control system in these cars! SO, if you have an early (pre 1989 900) with the wrong spedo head, you can replace it with this one, and have a VSS signal. This will allow for boost limiters in 1st and 2nd gear on trionic systems running in a classic 900! Cool!
