Cannon SuperBar is a professional-grade chainsaw bar built for operators who demand straight cutting, long service life, and minimal downtime.
Manufactured in Canada 🇨🇦 by Cannon Bar Works, SuperBars are hand-made from high-grade, custom alloy steel containing chromium for wear resistance and molybdenum for strength. The steel is cold rolled and annealed to achieve the correct balance of hardness, toughness, and flexibility.
Bars are water-jet cut to eliminate heat-affected zones, then heat treated, oil quenched, and press tempered. After hardening, each bar is straightened, surface ground, and CNC machined to tight tolerances.
Cannon is known for its precision-honed bar groove. Rails are hand-ground, not milled, and each groove is individually finished and centred to within .002–.003″, delivering smooth chain travel, straight tracking, and even rail wear.
The rails are flame hardened using Cannon’s proprietary process for deeper, harder wear surfaces. Longer bars are heel-pressed and stress-relieved to reduce vibration and improve durability.
All SuperBars are finished in a durable gunmetal or matte black coating and fitted with a single-rivet, replaceable sprocket nose.

Common use: Stihl saws approx. 60cc–91cc with 12 mm bar studs.

Common use: Stihl saws with 14 mm bar studs.
H1 Mount
Pattern: Oregon D009
Common use: Large Husqvarna saws with 9 mm bar studs.
C1 Mount
Pattern: Combination mount (Oregon A041, K041, A061, A064, A074, A095, K095 / Stihl 3005)
Common use: Many saws under 60cc with 8.2 mm bar studs.
