PDI designed the Big Boss Turbo using their industry-leading experience in diesel performance to help increase horsepower, torque, and fuel efficiency while maintaining reliable operation under heavy workloads. This turbo is built to handle extreme heat cycles, making it ideal for trucks that work hard and rack up serious miles.
The turbo utilizes a 1.32 A/R ratio, which helps maintain proper drive pressure levels, allowing the turbo to stay within its optimal efficiency range. This improves airflow through the engine while helping maintain consistent turbo performance.
The design also features a V-band style connection, eliminating the traditional o-ring style design used on some engines. This provides a stronger seal and improves durability under high heat and boost conditions.
