PDI took their industry-leading turbo design experience and built the Big Boss Turbo specifically for the Detroit Series 60 platform, focusing on improving horsepower, torque, and fuel efficiency while still maintaining long-term durability. Designed to handle extreme heat cycles and heavy workloads, this turbo is built for trucks that don’t get an easy life.
The Big Boss Turbo features a 1.32 A/R ratio, which helps keep drive pressure within proper limits, allowing the turbo to stay within its most efficient operating range. The result is improved engine efficiency, stronger performance, and better overall turbo response.
This turbo also utilizes a V-band style connection, eliminating the traditional o-ring style design used on some engines. The V-band design provides a more secure connection and simplifies installation and servicing.
