Description
Cannon DuraLite SuperBar is built for professional operators who want the strength and cutting accuracy of a solid steel bar, with improved balance and reduced weight where it matters most.
Whether you’re running a 16–20″ bar for fast handling and control, or stepping up into longer lengths where nose weight and fatigue become more noticeable, the DuraLite offers a clear advantage over a standard solid bar.
The DuraLite SuperBar begins life as a fully machined Cannon SuperBar. After grooving and flame-hardening the rails, weight is reduced by precision milling pockets on each side while retaining a solid steel core.
The centre section is perforated to form an I-beam style structure, maintaining exceptional rigidity while removing unnecessary mass from the bar body.
Flexible aluminium inserts are permanently bonded to the steel core using a specialised chemical bonding process, resulting in a bar that maintains SuperBar durability while weighing up to 25% less.
Manufactured in 🇨🇦 Canada by Cannon Bar Works, the DuraLite SuperBar improves balance, reduces fatigue, and maintains straight cutting accuracy across a wide range of bar lengths.
- Up to 25% lighter than a standard solid steel SuperBar
- Improved balance and reduced fatigue
- Flame-hardened rails for extended service life
- Precision-ground groove for accurate chain tracking
- Heavy-duty sprocket nose suited to professional saws
