Up for sale is a OEM Siemens Mercedes V8 ignition module.Part number 013 545 64 32
as always your best bet is to match up the part number with the one you are trying to replace. I only sell the OEM units, never aftermarket so they are the same quality as your original. This module lists for over $2000 from MBUSA, this is listed at merely a fraction of the dealer price.
This unit was removed from a recent crash damaged car that still ran fine. It is in good shape. A defective unit can cause a whole host of problems with these cars, including random misfire, no-start, and intermittent no-spark on one or more cylinders. Rumor has it that these units are generally fairly reliable, however they can be damaged if they see excess voltage (from a bad voltage regulator) or, apparently if you install non OEM spark plugs, as they do not like anything but the resistance values provided by OEM plugs.
I will give a DOA warranty with this. It will work on arrival, however I do not warranty these for anything beyond that.
