Up for sale is a Working, in excellent condition Mitsubishi Galant ECU. This unit is a used, Remanufactured replacement ECU. This unit was replaced in 2007 according to the service records from this crash damaged car. You should never have another failure with this unit. Should fit some 1990 2.0, manual transmission cars. May fit others as well. See part numbers at the top of the listing. – .
This unit offers a 30day functionality warranty. I always inspect these internally to make sure they don’t have the typical physical failure that may not be evident by a simple run test. This one is in excellent physical and operating condition.As always with this type of component your best bet is tomatch the part number to the one on your original ECU. A faulty ECU isone of the most common no start or random stalling problems with thesecars. These can also cause issues with erroneous checkengine lights, idle control problems as well as emission control &cold or hot start problems. I have also seen fuel pump relay turn onfaults (ECU won’t turn on the fuel pump), as well as an condition wherethe high speed injector driver has failed. This causes the car to sitand idle fine, but it won’t accelerate.If your car does nothave these issues but you intend to keep it a while, I recommend ourcustomers keep an extra ECU in the trunk. These units now have to bespecial ordered from most dealers new for big $$ (often times over$1000!), and you can never find one when you need one. Even nowfinding a good one second hand is getting to be quite difficult asthese cars get older.
