How to use (quick tips)
- Secure the bar, engage the chain brake, and wear eye/hand protection.
- Select the correct file diameter for your chain pitch (see guide above).
- File from inside to outside of each cutter with light, even strokes; keep the file level and maintain the specified top-plate angle.
- Count strokes and keep them consistent left vs right for even cutter length.
- Finish by checking and adjusting depth gauges (rakers) with the correct gauge.
Compatible with common file holders and handles (PFERD, Vallorbe, STIHL, Oregon, etc.).
