Up for sale is a Working, in excellent condition Volvo ECU. This unit was removed from a recent crash damaged salvage car. Unit was remanufactured in the past few years, and has run not many miles since. Part number– 0 280 000 563. This will fit many 89-95 volvo with the turbo 4 cyl engine. This is the non EGR ECU. This is getting to be a VERY hard to find ECU. This will also fit 90-95 cars with the 0280000967 ECU. This will also work if you want to remove the EGR from your CA-emission car and have the correct non EGR ECU.
Also be sure to double check the bosch part number off your original unit before buying, though this will not match if you are updating an older car with this ECU as an upgrade. A Faulty ECU is one of the most common causes of no start or random stalling problems with these volvo cars. If yours does not have this problem, keep an extra ECU in the trunk, you might some day be glad you did… These units now have to be special ordered from most dealers new for big $$, and finding a good one second hand is getting to be a chore.
