Saab 900 2.0 Liter Non Turbo 8 valve Distributor for Classic 900 – Fits 1982-1988 non turbo, 8 valve –  0 237 021 014 

Up for sale is a Working, in excellent condition Saab 900 non turbo distributor. This unit is a good used unit. These are for classic-900 (1982-1988) non turbo 2.0 liter models.  Of note, in 1986 1987 and 1988 the 900-S models were 16 valve models.  The “900” – Base model, retained use of the 8 valve engine until 1988, at which point, they ended production of this motor.  1989 and later 900’s ALL use 16 valve engines.  This distributor is for the 8 valve non turbo cars 1988 and earlier ONLY.

This unit has been NLA from Saab for several years, and rebuild kits are also unavailable . Re manufactured distributors start at around $250 for one of the cheapest. In addition to hall sensor failures, these also commonly leak oil internally causing a burning smell as the drips burn off on the exhaust manifold which is directly underneath the distributor.
