Up for sale is a Working, in excellent condition Saab 9000 Turbo Trionic ECU. Part number– 9136490
This is original to 1993 9000 CSE or “super CS” Turbo, with the full pressure turbo. If you have a standard 93 9000 CS TURBO. with the light pressure turbo, all you have to do is plug this unit is, plug in a BPC (boost pressure control) and BOOM, you have 200 HP, a 30 HP gain. Well worth doing…
Unit is used, & comes with a 30 day functionality guarantee. Trionic ECU failures that will cause a no-start condition not very common, but they do occasionally occur. More frequently however the mosfets for the BPC (boost pressure control) DO frequently fail, which will cause you to only get base boost and nothing but that. If you have replaced your BPC, and still don’t get boost – very likely your ECM has failed it’s BPC mosfets! Occasionally these control units will also develop a problem where they will throw erroneous check engine lights. If this happens, replacement is the only option.
This unit is also great for self tuning of your car with T5 Suite! Add header pins to this unit, and tune – you can use it on ANY Trionic 5 car for the purposes of tuning 1994-1999. Keep your original ECM as an original unit.
