Up for sale is a good used Saab 900 (1994-1998) 9000 (1991-1998) & 9-3 1999 BPC valve. This is the unit that receives signal from the ECU & controls the boost level. A defective unit usually will cause a base boost condition (the car won’t boost past 5 PSI and will be very slow to accelerate), or constant overshoot which will cause unusually high boost which will trigger fuel cut (this will feel as though someone momentarially kicked your foot off the gas), and then it will cut back on. If, severe this will happen repetadly any time you try to accelerate under boost These are very expensive to buy new (over $200), so this is an excellent value. guaranteed to function for 30 days after purchase, though it will likely last for years – only a 30 day guarantee, this is used, and much much cheaper than a new unit.
